Theme: More for less

“More for Less” raises the question of how architecture can generate quality – spatial, material, cultural, and social – through more thoughtful and rational use of resources. In the contemporary context of climate challenges and limited spatial capacities, this concept re-examines architectural models rooted in spectacle and monumental representation. The focus shifts towards sustainable and intelligent strategies that produce a wealth of ideas and solutions, while the value of architecture is increasingly defined by its capacity to shape humane, inclusive, and long-term sustainable spaces. “More for Less” therefore does not signify reduction, but transformation – a reconsideration of the value of space and materials, highlighting that the true strength of the discipline lies in intellectual economy and creative intelligence, rather than in consumption or spectacle.
